E-Bike Tour: the Lands of Custoza between travel and history

This bike tour leads you through a slow discovery of the territory: it starts from Borghetto sul Mincio, officially recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and develops along a mixed route, dirt and asphalt, on country roads and secondary roads with low traffic.

You will explore the morainic hills of Custoza, a unique hinterland surrounded by nature. You will pass through the historical centres of some characteristic localities of the area such as Custoza, famous for its DOC wine, but also as the scene of the Risorgimento battles of 1848 and 1866.

A journey through time, to rediscover the events linked to these battles, through villas and historic courtyards where the battles between the Austrian armies and the Piedmontese and Italian armies took place. Against the backdrop of the evocative Ossuary of Custoza, you will be welcomed by our guides who will help you immerse yourself in the reality of those crucial moments in the history of the Unification of Italy.

A slow tourism route by e-bike, suitable for everyone and interspersed with pleasant stops, along which you can enjoy unique views and landscapes. It will also be possible, upon reservation, to discover the typical local products that this area offers through a tasting to be experienced in one of the farms in the area with its precious authenticity.

Appropriate clothing for riding an e-bike, sports shoes or trainers and a water bottle, rucksack with a rain jacket, hat and protective cream are recommended.
