Description
Garda Island is Lake Garda's main attraction, thanks to the Venetian-style villa where the Borghese Cavazza counts still live and the colourful botanical garden and centuries-old park surrounding the palace.
This excursion with a private skipper departs from the port of Sirmione: you will sail along the west coast of the peninsula and can admire the Grotte di Catullo up close. You will then cross the lake towards the Brescia coast, passing under the Rocca di Manerba on your way to the Isola dei Conigli.
You will reach Isola del Garda, walk along its crystal-clear waters and finally arrive at Gardone Riviera, the Garden City, an incredibly picturesque town with a wealth of Art Nouveau architectural beauties and a historic charm that has remained unchanged over time.
You will cross the lake again, a second chance to admire its shores and landscapes, before returning to Sirmione. During the crossing you will be offered a bottle of wine with an accompaniment of fresh fruit and personalised background music on request.
