Wine tasting for two in the secret garden of a historic cellar

This wine experience takes place in a historic Valtenesi village and takes you inside a 17th century building next to the ruins of Portese castle.

As soon as you cross the threshold, you will breathe in the intimate atmosphere of a bygone and preserved time: an old stone boundary wall protects the vines and ensures peace and quiet for guests.

At the entrance, two centuries-old mulberry trees and a small 18th-century chapel mark the entrance to the inner courtyard, characterised by the typical structure of rural houses on the lake.

The experience begins with a brief introduction to the history of the place. You will visit the private courtyard steeped in the charm of a bygone era, with its centuries-old vineyard and beautiful bougainvillea.

Guided by the owner and wine maker, you will stroll through the vineyard and listen to his account of farm work and his explanation of the natural and organic production chosen by the company.

You will then move on to the tasting room where the different wines from the cellar will be explained to you in an evocative manner. Finally, you can indulge in the luxury of tasting four selected wines, accompanied by a small finger food buffet, in an ancient garden amidst centuries-old trees and olive trees:
