Tandem paragliding flight: from Monte Pizzocolo to Lake Garda

The experience begins with a meeting at Val di Sur–San Michele, near Gardone Riviera, where you’ll meet your instructors. From there, you'll enjoy a private off-road transfer to the launch site at an altitude of 1,200 metres – a 30-minute journey offering unique views over Lake Garda and its enchanting surroundings.

Once you arrive at the take-off point, your instructor will prepare you for the paragliding flight (which lasts around 20 minutes), giving you a quick briefing with clear, simple and detailed instructions on how to control the wing correctly and make the most of this fantastic outdoor activity. Unlike other extreme flying sports (such as skydiving), no mandatory course is required for paragliding.

• What are the ideal weather conditions for the flight?
  Ideal conditions for paragliding involve stable air. The instructor is responsible for cancelling or postponing the experience if safety conditions are not fully met – for example, in the case of strong winds or incoming storms.

• What safety measures are taken during the flight?
  All safety protocols required by the sport are followed during the paragliding flight over Lake Garda, including the provision of specific equipment and its rigorous inspection.

• What experience do the pilots have who will conduct the tandem paragliding flight?
  All pilots involved in the paragliding activity over Lake Garda have more than 30 years of experience in the field, along with the legally required certifications and licences.

• Where does the landing take place after the paragliding flight?

  You’ll need to make your own way to the meeting point, but the off-road transfer to the paragliding launch site is included in the price of the experience.
