Description
Refreshed by the breeze coming from the north, Punta San Vigilio is only a few kilometres from Garda, which it protects with its look and hook shape. Sirmione, lying along a narrow peninsula, juts out towards the centre of the lake. These are the most popular resorts on the eastern and southern shores of Lake Garda.
This private motorboat excursion with skipper departs from the harbour of Garda, behind which stands out on a hilltop the Rocca, once a guard post defending the city.
Leaving the pier, you leave the hustle and bustle of the village and reach Punta San Vigilio, with its crystal-clear waters and magnificent view of the imposing Villa Guarienti.
You will then sail along the south-east coast in the direction of the historic town of Sirmione, where you can admire the Grotte di Catullo (Catullus' Caves) in the intact archaeological park. Along the circumnavigation of the peninsula you can stop and dive wherever you like, including at the famous Jamaica beach.
You will then return to Garda: a second opportunity to admire the shores and landscapes of Lake Garda. During the crossing you will be offered a bottle of wine and fresh fruit accompanied by background music customised to your request.
