Description
More than one hundred years of history bind this family to its land, its vineyards and the tradition of wine: testimonies from the early 1900s tell of their past as sharecroppers around one of the oldest dwellings in Valpolicella Classica.
During a pleasant walk through the estate's vineyards, your guide will explain the history of Valpolicella and the sustainable cultivation and winemaking techniques used. The journey will continue with a visit to the innovative grape drying facility and an explanation of the expert method of ageing the wines in barrels, barriques and the new evocative concrete amphorae.
This tour from the earth to the glass will then continue with a guided tasting of six of the company's iconic wines:
- two Amaroni della Valpolicella DOCG
- a Rosso Veronese IGT
- one Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore
- one Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG classico
- a Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore
all served with homemade focaccia, salami and local artisan cheeses. This will be followed by a typical local dessert and dry pastries accompanied by a Grappa di Amarone.
The tasting is held in a renovated room with contemporary architecture and refined style, particularly appreciated by lovers of design and refined environments.
This marvellous winery is located in the heart of Valpolicella, 10 km from Verona and 18 km from the shores of Lake Garda (Lazise is the nearest town on the coast).
