Description
Have you ever tried horse trekking in the Dolomites and Upper Garda? This is a 2-hour horse trek in the direction of the Valli Giudicarie, an area between Lake Ledro, Lake Garda and the Adamello-Brenta mountains.
An activity suitable for those with a green soul who love to explore places while respecting nature. A horseback ride in the Dolomites and Alto Garda is perfect, in fact, to discover unique landscapes and breathtaking views, crossing pastures, woods, small towns and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: Rango.
The experience, suitable for beginners and experts alike, starts at a magnificent riding stables in the valleys of Trentino. Here you will be taught the best way to approach the horse and how to handle it during the walk. Once you have acquired this basic information, you will be able to mount your horse and begin the walk, immediately immersing yourself in the mountain and hillside landscape and creating a precious bond with this majestic and docile animal.
The route runs along easy paths and white roads, both uphill and downhill. You will enjoy a privileged view of the surrounding mountain area and the imposing Brenta Dolomites. Moreover, along the itinerary you will come across beautiful places such as the village of Rango, a place where time seems to have stood still and where the typical vòlti and the stone and wooden houses that characterise the historic centre evoke an authentic rural spirit.
You will then climb up towards Passo Durone, where the landscape is characterised by the presence of numerous walnut trees (once the main crop in the area), before slowly descending and closing the loop with the return to the riding school.
This horseback ride north of Lake Garda is designed for animal lovers (and horses in particular!), but also for those who wish to experience an unusual and eco-friendly way to experience the enchanting mountain landscape. In the saddle of your adventure companion you will experience intense emotions, completely immersed in nature!
