Description
In the hilly landscape of lower Garda and Lugana, characterised by clay plains and the gentle slopes of the moraine hills, a family-run winery offers a DOC wine tasting, enriched on fine days by an interesting walk through the estate's vineyards, to learn more about the different types of terroir and the varieties that express them.
The farm is located in the places of the great history of the Risorgimento and the birth of the Italian Red Cross and tells the story of its family also through its production: established in the 1970s and handed down from one generation to the next, it still respects its guiding principles, favouring quality and authenticity.
Francesca will tell you about Garda's wine-growing tradition, taking you on a walk through the vineyards: here you will discover how differences in soil, altitude and exposure determine substantially different productions.
This will be followed by a tasting of three labels of DOC wines, including Chiaretto, the representative rosé wine of Lake Garda. The three glasses will be accompanied by a platter of cured meats and artisan cheeses, which you can enjoy outdoors in the shade of the trees or in the showroom overlooking the hills dotted with rows of vines.
An experience for those who wish to experience and explore an area where the union between nature and man's work finds its highest expression in a white wine with unique and authentic flavours.
