Description
For years we have been exploring the shores and hinterland of Lake Garda, its minor roads and places of interest, to put together some perfect tours for you to fully enjoy the wonders of this area. We choose for you the most scenic and naturalistic routes with the least traffic and parking difficulties, and which include the right place to have lunch on your route.
In this way, you will be able to freely enjoy a day full of emotions and beautiful discoveries, without wasting time and without running into the typical inconveniences of improvisation.
When you arrive in Bardolino, the starting point of the tour, we will show you how to download the app with the chosen route onto your smartphone: You can then decide for yourself whether to follow the route in full, in part, or whether to stop at all the stops or skip some.
This 120 km tour offers you the most pleasant and interesting way to circumnavigate the lake, enjoying the most beautiful panoramic views from both shores of Lake Garda. You will cross it by ferry from Torri del Benaco, purchasing your ticket on the spot at a discounted price.
You will then reach the other side of the lake, Toscolano Maderno, and begin the ascent along the famous Strada della Forra, on the Brescia coast. You will then arrive at Alpe del Garda where you can buy and taste local cheeses and cold cuts produced in the historic cheese factory. In the area of the Forra and Tremosine you can have lunch in an agritourismo suggested by us, sampling typical local products produced on the farm. A table is already reserved for you at a special price: an appetiser, a first course, a glass of wine, water and an espresso coffee await you.
After lunch, the itinerary will take you northwards, circumnavigating the lake coast to the Veronese coast: you will then reach San Zeno di Montagna on Monte Baldo where you can stop in a typical restaurant located on a natural balcony with a view of Lake Garda, tasting local products on the farm.
Finally, you will return to Bardolino along hilly routes with magnificent views of the lake and its vineyards and olive groves.
