Description

Have you ever tried the experience of a Vespa scooter tour of Lake Garda, aboard one of Italy's most iconic vehicles? This timeless Piaggio vehicle is perfect for those who want to travel the roads of the Benaco with the legendary two-wheeler, beloved even by movie stars.

All you have to do is hop into the saddle of your Vespa to explore the shores and hinterland of Lake Garda by means of unique tours that take in its minor roads as well as its most interesting sights. The ideal way to fully enjoy the wonders of this area.

A tour of Lake Garda on a Vespa is designed to experience some of the most scenic and naturalistic routes, with less traffic and parking difficulties. The tour includes gastronomic stops at typical restaurants and farms where you can stop for lunch or a tasting without the risk of getting lost or straying from the recommended route. Ideal for those who want to spend a carefree day full of emotions.

To start your Vespa scooter tour on Lake Garda you need to reach Moniga. Here we will provide you with all the information you need to download the app with the chosen route onto your smartphone. You can then decide for yourself whether to follow it completely or partially and whether to stop at all the stops or skip some.

The standard 120 km tour offers you the most pleasant and interesting way to circumnavigate the lake, enjoying the most beautiful panoramic views from both shores of Lake Garda. You will cross it by ferry starting from Toscolano Maderno (purchasing a ticket on the spot at a special price) to arrive in Torri del Benaco and begin the ascent to San Zeno di Montagna on Monte Baldo. Here you can have lunch in a splendid agriturismo with a natural balcony and a priceless view of the Benaco, sampling typical local and home-grown food. A table has already been reserved for you at a special price (including an appetiser, a first course, a glass of wine, water and an espresso).

But it's not over yet! The tour of Lake Garda on a Vespa will then continue northwards to reach the famous Strada della Forra, on the Brescia coast, and the Alpe del Garda where there is a historic local cheese factory where you can taste local cheeses and cold cuts (and buy them for yourself or friends). Finally, crossing the Valtenesi hills, with magnificent views of the lake, its vineyards and olive groves, you will return to Moniga, ready to experience a new adventure!

How does a Vespa tour on Lake Garda work?

  • How much does the ferry ticket cost?

The cost of the ferry for the Vespa tour to Lake Garda may vary. The fares are seasonal.

  • How much does an agreed farmhouse lunch cost?

The price is agreed and is around €20. Obviously, the figure varies if drinks and extra dishes are added. Any allergies, intolerances and other requests should be communicated via the special messaging service, available immediately after booking the Vespa tour on Lake Garda.

  • What happens in case of bad weather or adverse conditions? Can the experience be postponed?

In case of rain, an alternative date will be proposed. You will, however, be provided with rainproof k-ways to use if necessary.

  • Will transport services be provided to reach the starting point or do you have to organise your own transport?

The Vespa tour on Lake Garda does not include a transport service to the starting point, which can be easily reached by own means, taxi or rental car. This tour starts from Moniga del Garda, but NowMyPlace offers other Vespa tours with different starting points along the shores of Lake Garda.
